YouTube to stems, in one paste

Drop a YouTube link and Quota Stems grabs the audio and splits it — no separate downloader, no converter site. Great for pulling an acapella or an instrumental to flip. Paste a whole playlist and it runs the batch.

How it works

Paste the link

Copy the YouTube URL and drop it in. Quota Stems pulls the audio straight down on your machine — you don't need a separate downloader or a sketchy converter site first.

Pick your split

4 or 6 stems for a quick vocal-and-instrumental grab, or the full drum-kit split for kick, snare, toms and cymbals when you want to rebuild the groove from a sample.

Get stems to flip

Out come WAV stems ready to chop — plus an Ableton Live 12 set with each stem warped on its own track, or an Akai Force / MPC project. Paste a playlist and it does the whole list back to back.

Let’s be real

The big-name splitters can’t even take the link.

Moises refuses YouTube, Spotify, and SoundCloud URLs outright — their own help center says streaming links are blocked. Lalal.ai’s official guide for YouTube audio literally tells you to go download the file with a third-party tool first, then come back and upload it. Fadr: file upload only, 200MB cap, MP3 downloads unless you pay.

So the “workflow” becomes: find a downloader site, dodge its pop-ups, convert, download, re-upload to a stem service, wait in a queue, download again. For every single track.

Quota Stems takes the link. One paste — it downloads and separates in one step, on your machine, free. Paste a whole playlist and walk away; it batches the entire list and hands you WAVs, an Ableton set, or a Force/MPC project per track.

What you get

What you pull from a link

  • Acapella and instrumental from any YouTube link — split into 4 or 6 stems, or up to ~10 with the full drum kit broken out (kick, snare, toms, cymbals).
  • Download and separate in one step. No standalone downloader, no converter site, no re-importing a file by hand.
  • Batch a whole playlist — paste the playlist URL and Quota Stems works through every track instead of one link at a time.
  • The audio never leaves your machine. Demucs runs on-device, fully offline, with no account and nothing uploaded.
  • Land the stems where you’ll flip them: warped Ableton Live 12 set, Akai Force / MPC project, raw WAVs, or MP4 video stems.
