Quota HQ is now Rare Data HQ

RD303 joins the library. Stems, Kits and Voice can now send completed sets and kits to your Force through HQ, with a shared destination and a local transfer queue.

Quota HQ is now Rare Data HQ. It still installs and updates the Quota apps, keeps your licenses on your computer and gives you a way back to a previous version. The library now includes RD303 and connects the Stems, Kits and Voice workflow to your Force.

Existing Quota HQ users can update in place. Your license wallet and settings stay with you. The first launch explains what changed; dismiss it when you are ready, or reopen it from Settings.

RD303 is free through HQ

RD303 / Raw Dog 303 is an acid bass instrument with up to 128 steps, accent, slide, recorded knob automation, modulation and effects. It is also included in COMPA on iPhone and iPad, with an AUv3 for other hosts.

Open HQ, find RD303, and choose This computer or Force / MPC. Desktop formats are AU and VST3 on Mac, and VST3 on Windows and Linux. The hardware release is tested on Akai Force 3.9.1.2. Other MPC hardware remains unverified.

This first release is free with private source, distributed through HQ. The complete manual is available without entering an email.

A song in Stems, a set on the Force

Quota Stems 1.3 separates songs or playlists on your computer and builds Force projects with their stems and cue scenes. Choose a destination in HQ and enable Send when finished. The completed project and its samples are delivered together.

You can also send an existing export. If the network drops, retry the saved transfer instead of separating the song again. Quota Stems remains free.

Send drum programs, Song Kits and Remix Kits

Quota Kits 1.4 uses that same connection. Build an XPM drum program, a Song Kit from a Stems export or a Remix Kit with your own beat. Send the program or project with its samples to the folder you choose on Force.

HQ's Devices window lets you browse storage, make folders and organize exports. The queue belongs to your computer; it is not a public feed.

Start it from your phone

Quota Voice 1.1 is free, including a permanent activation key. Pair the free iPhone Remote and ask for stems or a Song Kit. For a remix, tap Remix Kit, choose the song and your beat from the computer’s file list, and switch on Send to my Force. You can also paste a supported song link or choose one you saved in your Crate. No spoken folder names needed.

Review the two inputs and destination, then confirm with Face ID. Your computer runs the kit job and HQ handles delivery. The computer must be awake with Voice running, and must be able to reach the powered-on Force. Delivered means the files are ready to open on the instrument; it does not start playback for you.

Your licenses have a home

Use Licenses in HQ to add a purchased key, manage its devices or export a wallet backup. No HQ account is required. The wallet stays on your computer. Existing purchase-email activation links still open HQ.

Before connecting hardware

Force installation needs existing root SSH, executable plug-in storage and the supported startup integration. File delivery needs SSH and writable storage. HQ checks the setup; it does not unlock firmware or install a mod. The HQ guide explains the requirements.
