Quota Kits Is Live: One Folder In, a Kit for Every Machine
Drop in a folder of samples and Quota Kits builds Ableton drum racks, Akai MPC / Force programs, and numbered SP-404 banks — plus the 128-sample macro pad nothing else makes. $19, Mac & Windows.

Every producer has the same folder: hundreds of one-shots, snares, 808s, vocal chops — sitting on a drive, unplayable until you load them onto pads one at a time. And once you finally build a kit, you build it *again* by hand for the MPC, again as a numbered folder for the SP-404, again in Ableton.
Quota Kits does the layout once and sends it everywhere. It's out now — $19 one-time, Mac & Windows.
Drop a folder, get an instrument
Point Quota Kits at a folder and it lays out a playable kit. Smart Auto-Kit reads every filename, sorts kicks, snares, claps, hats, 808s, vocals, and FX into a producer's layout, and stacks the rest so nothing's lost.

The 128s pad
Here's the part nothing else makes: a single pad that holds up to 128 samples, with one macro knob that sweeps through all of them. Drop a whole pack of snares on one pad and audition them by turning a knob — live, automatable, MIDI-mappable. It comes into Ableton as a real macro, labeled and color-matched to the pad.

Built for the gear on your desk
- Ableton Live — a Drum Rack (.adg) written straight into your User Library; 128s pads keep the full macro sweep.
- Akai MPC / Force — drum programs and keygroups (.xpm), ready for the SD card.
- SP-404 MKII / Koala / Maschine — numbered folders (`001_Kick`, `002_Snare`…) that import clean.
- Key groups — play a sample chromatically, or spread a bank across the keyboard with one knob picking which is keyed.
Trim, truncate, normalize — built in
An SP-404 / MPC-style waveform editor lives right in the app. Drag the start and end points to trim (non-destructively), truncate to bake a cut in, and normalize one sample, a whole 128s pad, or the entire kit. Your originals are never touched.

Make it yours
